We had a great time at Vacation Bible School this year!

This year's VBS had a theme based on the wild west.  Everyone started and ended their day singing western songs.  Kids got to learn Bible verses and heard stories about Jesus and his amazing love.  They also got to learn about cowboy life in the old west.  There were fun games, creative crafts, and tasty snacks.

An offering was collected each day to help the victims of last year's Hurricane Helene in Appalachia. For a new house foundation to be built,  it costs $8,000.  Our goal for VBS was to supply a foundation wall ($2,000).  We met our goal by collecting $2,677.  There is a matching gift being provided,  so the total raised is $ 5,354.

On Friday,  there was a closing program to show parents and friends the lessons and songs that kids learned.  It was followed with a hot dog lunch and an opportunity for kids to see and pet miniature horses.

Our VBS team would like to express what a pleasure it was to spend time with all of the kids.  We are so thankful for the opportunity to share the gospel with 41 kids and to significantly help those affected by Hurricane Helene.
